What is involved to Succeed?
The primary role of a business broker is to assist owners in selling their business when it’s time for their exit strategy.
Obtain clients through networking, direct marketing, social media, cold calls, and other forms of contact.
Appraise businesses to determine an accurate market value using financial data and industry.
Once an engagement agreement is signed, brokers and the office will work on the presentation of the business and marketing strategies.
Develop and work with prospective leads for the firm’s business engagements.
Work with sellers to secure a favorable price, as well as working with, buyers, bankers, accountants, attorneys, and others in the negotiation process to ensure a successful completion of the process.
